I searched through wedding magazines and none of the wedding dresses caught my eye. My dreams came true when my mother-in-law told me that I could have a dress made just the way I wanted in the Philippines. I began clipping magazine pictures and designed the wedding dress of my dreams.

The dress was made in the traditional color of the Philippines. Every sequin and pearl bead was sewn on individually. My sleeves and upper part of my dress were designed with a lace look. Each design was carefully cut and sewn together by hand. My dress also had a detachable train that extended approximately eight feet long and five feet wide. My veil was attached to a pearl crown that sat snugly on my head. My entire dress took four weeks to make. Isn’t it beautiful?
