I found my traditional white satin wedding dress on the first day we went looking. It has pearls, crystals, and lace in a floral motif all over the bodice and sheer sleeves. The back is rather low, with the neckline not plunging quite so far. The skirt of my dress also has pearls, crystals, and lace extending down to form a Basque waistline and up from the hem. The understated detail work on the twelve-foot train is my favorite part. I wore a hoop skirt under the dress to have a more gracious sweep down the aisle. My fingertip veil with its pearls and crystals seemed to be made just for my dress. I felt like a princess on my wedding day.
