I found my candlelight-colored dream dress on a website. For my second wedding, I wanted a classy, yet sensual dress. I had been looking for an off the shoulder dress with a Basque waist and long sleeves. When I saw it, I knew this was the one that I had envisioned. It would go perfect with the pearl-strand hair comb I had found.

The pearls and sequins on the bodice, sleeves, and along the bottom of the full skirt and chapel train shimmered in the light. The back needed something so I had ribbon “ties” added to the bow. These ties set off the under-bustle (or reverse bustle) wonderfully when the train was bustled for the reception. It gave the back of the dress an 1880’s look that complimented my husband’s cutaway jacket.

My dress made me feel beautiful and elegant, which is what I hoped to accomplish.
