My dress was selected out of four that I had narrowed it down to - and this one won out because it had a design that was, personally, perfect for me. The dress was a two-piece ballroom style with chapel-length train, and featured a corseted bodice with cap sleeves. The gown had detailed embroidery in a "swirly S-design", highlighted by silver-accent threads. (I love silver and Eric said I couldn't have a "platinum" dress.) The S-design is one that I have turned into my own personal art form over the past several years. I chose a tiara for my headpiece because I am a "princess", and attached a simple fingertip veil with blusher. The veil had silver piping around the edges - and it tied in beautifully with my dress. |
